US Army of God?
Just another article that seems to confirm my suspiscion that - more often than not - our foriegn and domestic policy of late is being informed by religious ideology as well as political.
This one concerns a general speaking before a religious group, in dress uniform, casting the current “war on terrorism” in religious terms. This one also happens to be the newly appointed deputy Undersecretary of Defense for intelligence. Is it unreasonable to wonder if this kind of religious ideology is one of the real driving forces behind going to war with Iraq?
