Not Ready
OK. So, Rick had a meeting last night and I stayed home with Parker. I’m having dinner in the living room and watching television while Parker crawls around. All the while I’m plying him with Cheerios to keep him off my plate, and feeding him bites of mashed potatoes when the Cheerios failed. He was standing up, holding on to the coffee table.
Then it happened. Parker let go of the coffee table and took about 4 steps before he dropped back down to crawling. I nearly dropped my fork. He’s been doing this much more frequently in the past week, at home and at daycare. Rick thinks full fledged walking is just a week or two away at this point.
So I’ve decided we’re spending this weekend nailing down everything in the house. Everything.
*sigh* Oh well, at least now I’ll get a cardio workout.
