Death for Sniper

Predictably, a Virginia jury has recommended death for John Allen Muhammad. No surprises here. I said earlier that the decision to try him in VA first was made because he was more likely to get the death penalty in that state, since MD had a moratorium on the death penalty at the time.

Of course, I’m completely opposed to the death penalty, for reasons that would take a whole new discussion to cover.

Why predictably? I’m a Virginian and I sat on two juries, both for capital murder and they are both still alive!
