My Type

Taking a cue from Chase, I decided to take the Match.Com Attraction Test myself. I’ve always sworn that I don’t have a "type," but apparently I do; and it’s one that cuts across categories of race and age for the most part. As for my results, some things they got right, and some things they got mostly right. They were rarely ever entirely wrong. The guy in the picture to the left is Match.Com’s idea of my type of guy. And, to be honest, if I were on the market, I’d find Mr. Match over there quite handsome. Of course, I’m not on the market. I’m spoken for. But like I always say “Just because I’m not ordering doesn’t mean I can’t read the menu.”

Favorite Looks

Some may call one of your types “Pretty Boys,” but all you know is that they’re gorgeous. The combination of classic good looks with small noses, beautiful eyes, and full lips is hard to resist. These guys tend to be clean shaven, have clear skin, and get good hair cuts. They’re taking good care of themselves so they can be “pretty” just for you! [Well, you and the 1 in 3 men (33%) that are also after them!]

You also appeared to like a number of guys we refer to as “Surfer Dudes.” They have a natural “look” and way of presenting themselves that sets them apart from “preppy” or “button down” types. Their hair is medium to long and carefree. Being blonde or having a great tan doesn’t hurt either! It’s a very popular look and attracts over 40% of men.

Favorite Face Type

So-called “Mesomorph” faces obviously appealed to you. These faces can be shaped like a square or a rectangle, but are most noticeable because of their strong square jawline. The chins are clearly prominent from the front and side, and have crisp angles defining the sides of the chin. No sunken chins for you! This is by far the most masculine face type. Often, you’ll also find strong, manly noses and beefy lips with this face pattern as well. About 41% of other men especially prefer men with this face type.
