Flight Not Fight?

I have to admit, I’ve thought about it. Immigrating, that is, to less … conservative shores than one finds here in the U.S. right now. Canada seems to be the obvious choice, except that I’m not exactly fond of cold weather. This AlterNet article on the subject of people moving to Canada. A lot of the people interviewed seem to have the same idea that’s occured to me: if the far right wants the country, why not let them have it?

The end of the article also has a test you can take to assess your immigration status. I took it and scored a 77. The pass mark is currently 67. So, it’s nice to know that I can still potentially get into Canada, if the U.S. goes off the deep end.

The only obstacle is convincing my husband that we ought to do it. He still thinks it’s not so bad here, yet.
