Second Time Around

A few bloggers have posted comical remarks about the impending second wedding of Britney Spears. (Has the ink dried on the anullment of the first one yet?)

Spears, 22, and Federline, 26, began dating a few months ago, after her Las Vegas wedding to childhood friend Jason Alexander in January. That marriage was annulled 55 hours later.

Of the quickie Vegas ceremony, “That thing was a total ugh,” she says. “I was not in love at all.”

…Federline, who performed as a backup dancer for Justin Timberlake, Spears’ former boyfriend, previously was involved with Shar Jackson, star of TV’s “Moesha.” They have a 2-year-old daughter and are expecting another baby.

But I have to wonder, in marrying her boyfriend—who has one child by his former girlfriend, and another on the way—is Britney Spears making more a mockery of marriage than my husband (of four years) and I?

She’s not only making a mockery of marriage, she’s making a mockery of herself.

I think Britney has been hired secretly by the HRC to produce PR for the pro-gay marriage argument.
You go girl! Keep on marryin’! This is America, you have the right!

Bush-loving Britney can do what she wants. I, for one, will not support her since she supports Bush.

    One crazy girl.

Rumor has it that she is doing it because she is going to have a baby and wants to be married first. So hubby has two women knocked up at the same time!

My partner and I have been together for 22 years. And they say we’re ruining marriage?
