Dear(ly Beloved) Senators

I live in D.C. Thus, I don’t have a Senator. So I don’t have anyone to write, call, fax or email to tell them to vote against the Federal Marriage Amendment. (OK. I might send an email to Eleanor Holmes Norton, D.C. voice-without-a-vote, in the House, for all the good it’ll do. Besides, I’m pretty sure she’ll stand against it anyway.)

So, I’m asking those of you who read my blog, and who do have Senators to visit the HRC Action Center and ask them to oppose the constitutional amendment to ban same sex marriage. Their goal is to get 250,000 messages sent to Senators. Help them make this goal, and take the time to personalize your message for greater impact.
