I think I’m Gonna Furl
Since I started the new job, one of the things I spend my time doing is scouring the blogosphere to find out what people are talking about on a daily basis. I essentially gather “clippings” and then sort them out and find something to write about. I started out just copying and pasting links to Word documents. What was I thinking?
A while back, I blogged about Del.icio.us, which I’ve been using for little things here and there that I wanted to remember to blog about or come back to later. Then I found Furl.
I don’t remember how I found it, but now I’m sure i can’t live without it. Not only can I save web pages, but I can sort them by date or topic. I can look at my entire archive, or other’s archives. I can search all the documents in my archive. I can mark some things as private. I can email links.
It combines the best of Del.icio.us and MyBookmarks.Com
I could go on, but just check it out. It’s worth it.
