All I Want

Today is World AIDS Day. There’s a lot I could say about it, but the t-shirt I’m wearing today says it all as far as I’m concerned: “All I want is a cure and my friends back.” I’m wearing it today for Ric, Marc, Duane, Mark, Neal, John, Nkosi, and far too many others, all of whom I’ll be thinking and remembering today.

    I’ll be lighting a candle tonight in memory.

    I’d like to have such a shirt, but yeah, I’d like to have Charlie, Bobby, and so many others back a whole lot more.
