Purple Heart Project

Remember the pictures of flag-draped caskets shown on the Memory Hole website?

Remember when, during the Republican national convention, RNC delegates wore purple heart Band-Aids as a way of making of Kerry?

Well, check out the Purple Heart Project by Aaron Huey and see just how some of those purple hearts get earned.

When you look at these pictures and remember that there were no weapons of mass destruction, there were no tie to al Quaeda, that these people got sent over there without the number or equipment needed to accomplish their mission, and the Bush recently gave medals to three people—Tenet, Feith, and Franks—who helped make Iraq what it is today…it’s not so funny.
