I Got the Music in Meme
One last post before I head home. This meme occured to me this evening, when I was thinking about music, and is in the spirit of books like Scuse Me While I Kiss This Guy and websites like KissThisGuy.Com - The Archive of Misheard Song Lyrics.
It’s simple. The meme is to write about your most embarassing misheard song lyric. Include the name of the song, the artist, the actual lyric, and what you heard.

I was in the musical “Godspell” in high school and we were listening to an old recording of the show to start to learn the music. In one of the songs there is a lyric”
“Not thrones and crowns, but men.”
I heard:
“Not frozen cows, but men.”
I knew it was wrong, but couldn’t figure out the right words. Being 15 at the time this was hysterical and sent me and my girlfriends into fits of laughter for years afterwards.
