Blogging Light. In Flight.
I’m about to get on a plane with a two-year-old, and I’m headed north for the winter.
Posting will be light to non-existant for much of the rest of the day, as we’re headed for parts north—michigan, to be exact—to spend the holiday’s with the hubby’s family.
Oh yeah, one more thing.
The wingnuts can come and get me, if they dare.

Love that reasoning–if you don’t say “Merry Christmas,” the terrorists win.
Best of luck with the plane flight. Here’s hoping he sleeps the whole way.

Of all the asinine . . . so these zealots want “Merry Christmas,” which excludes Jews, Buddhists, pagans, and any number of other people of faiths/beliefs other than Christian, is better than “Happy Holidays” which is, my gracious, INCLUSIVE of everyone? How incredibly selfish of them.
To me, they’re missing the whole point of their own holiday: to these self-avowed supposed Christians, this time of year is about the birth of Christ — Christ, who taught compassion, love, and tolerance. They’re missing the point of their own declared religion . . . and Christ had a few things to say about hypocrites that they really should read.
Happy holidays is good. Season’s Greetings is good. I don’t feel any reduction in festive spirit over hearing or seeing those from friends, and I have no problem tossing in an additional “Happy Kwanzaa!” or “Happy Hanukkah!” etc. if I know what they specifically celebrate.
Hope you all have a lovely time in Michigan, and a safe plane trip.
