Just touched down in DC an hour ago, and got home 30 minutes ago. As for the flight, Parker screamed all the way through take-off, slept most of the flight, then woke up and screamed all the way through the descent and landing. Nothing we did to comfort or distract him worked, not trying to give him his bottle, not cupping our hands over his ears. Nothing.
So, after our second appearance as “Those People With the Screaming Kid” (We weren’t alone, though, as one couple on board had an infant who filled in while Parker was sleeping) it will be a long time before I feel like getting on a plane again.
I hear THAT. We got to listen to that in stereo last year. We will not be getting on a plane again until they’re at least 3 or older!
Take off and landing? Sounds like the air pressure got to him. If he’s too young to chew gum give him something else that’s chewy. And fly whenever you want. Don’t let the dickheads get you down.
I can’t believe people sit 10 feet from a jet engine and complain that baby is making too much noise. Isn’t that why they pass out headphones and vodka?
