I’m still taking “All Request Friday,” folks. Leave ‘em in the comments, and tomorrow I’ll blog about as much of it as I can.

What you didn’t expect about parenthood.
This may not seem exciting. And everything about it is overdone. But I think you should blog about the inaugural, or the speech, or the protests, or the spectacle of it. So whatever aspect of it nettles, you should blog. You are a political junkie and in DC, afterall, and so many of us aren’t in DC. Heck, I’m born and raised in America, and I’ve never been east of Kansas City. So … wudya think?
Whoops. Sorry. You wrote about the inaugural! Ok, this then: Bring us up-to-date with where you are with your Buddhism.
If slighted or insulted, some gay white people will try to convey their indignity by making a comparision to African-American stuggles. Easy examples are, “They wouldn’t say nigger so why is it okay to say fag?” or “Arguments against gay marriage are just like arguments against miscegenation.”
Being both black and gay, where both black is/black aint and gay is/gay aint, how do you respond to the linking of two groups struggles, especially when members and leaders of one group doesn’t want the association?
