SOTU, No Can Do
I did not watch the State of the Union address. Some things just aren’t worth putting myself through. As Bill said, if I watched it, I’d be watching someone speak as my president who is really no president of mine. Besides, I had more important things to do, like reading my son his favorite book, watching his favorite show with him, and tucking him in to bed.
In other words, I focused on my family, which George W. Bush and his “compassionate” cronies think shouldn’t exist.

Ha. This is what my most recent post was about to. I have pretty much the same reaction to Dubya and the SOTUA. It’s a farce, and I don’t believe that he’s speaking for folks like me. I caught snippets of it, and that was enough to make me angry (and thus, inspire my post). Instead, my honey and I spent awhile shopping for music on iTunes together.

Glad to know I wasn’t the only one who took a pass on the SOTU.. actually I had to work, but I don’t care about missing the damn thing…
