Yes, things have changed here yet again. I finally got up the nerve to try upgrading to WordPress 1.5. If you’re seeing this, then that means I was succesful. The old template has returned for the time being, because it is also the default template for WordPress 1.5 I still have a few things to get straightened out here. To get things looking the way I want them, but thus far everying seems to be workign smoothly. My next job will be to try adding a couple of new themes.
Of course, in my haste to get things set up, I imported some links into the wrong category. The good news is that the link import worked. The blogroll is imported from an OPML file. The Progressive Blog Alliance List was imported from the PBA OPLM URL. Everything worked.
I haven’t tested trackbacks yet. I might wait until tomorrow.
Uh, like, BIG YEA for the old template, Terrance. I mean, like, fa real do’! I can, like, see the hyperlinks and, like, stuff. So, I say BIG YEA!
By the way, I appreciate this template, if I hadn’t said that yet.
Yeah. The previous template didn’t last too long, did it? I’d heard from a couple of people that it was difficult to tell where the links were. Plus I’m not sure I like having the blogroll, links, etc. on a separate page. I’m not sure the 1-column template is very user-friendly.

I agree about the blogroll.
I keep meaning to write something about how hidden blogrolls are bad for blogging. If someone really wants to keep people from leaving his blog, just set the links to open in a new window. But it’s slowing down the “conversation” that is the blogosphere if we start making it as tough to get from one blog to another as the NYTimes does to get to a Post story …
