Too Many Choices
If there’s one thing that always causes me trouble, it’s when I have too many choices; especially if all of the options are good ones. At this point, It’s the last problem I have left with WordPress. But it’s not a bad problem to have.
One of the best changes to WordPress 1.5 is the theme handling. It’s even easier to change and customize themes. And, of course, there are lots of creative people out there designing new themes. Since upgrading to 1.5 I’ve downloaded several themes that caught my eye. The problem is, if I switched every time I found a theme I liked, there would be a new one almost every week. Like I said, too many choices.
So, I’m going to try something. I’m going to narrow it down to five choices (I think I can manage that), install a theme switcher, and let you decide. That’s right. If all goes according to plan, you’ll be able to choose the theme you like best, and (if you have cookies enabled) that will be your default theme whenever you visit this blog.
Just gimme a week or so to make some decisions and get it all together.

I like this new theme. For some reason the old one made typing extremely sluggish on my iBook.

I switched from MT to WP because I didn’t like how hard it was to style everything the way I wanted. I am really happy with my style right now but it is a bit simplistic. I have been thinking about putting in a theme switcher as well so I can add a little fun and spice to the site. I am going to tackle it when I have some more time. Be sure to drop me a note and tell me how diffcult of a process it was.

Might I offer a suggestion? The type size seems to have gotten smaller. I may only be 44, but I hate visiting a site that reminds me that my eyesight is failing and I’ll soon have to resort to those dime store reading granny-glasses before too much longer.
Should I go for the rhinestones or the tortoise shell?
