We Have a Winner
And—surprise, surprise!—it’s me. Engadget had a contest for the best Mac mini review a while back, and I submitted a revised version of the one-week-with-the-mini review I posted here. Well, thanks to a comment from Brad, I just found out that I won the contest.
Wow.
Frankly, I’m floored. I did not expect to win. I don’t even remember the last time I won anything. But it’s pretty cool. The prize is $500 worth of Mac mini accessories.

Now do you understand why we long-time Macheads have always been so fanatical about our systems? It’s infectious. Nobody gets excited about a PC.

Fantastic! I read your review and if I wasn’t already a confirmed Machead (at work and home) I’d be lined up to grab one. I’ll probably still end up getting one, just going to have wait for the next revision to come out. I want to get it with Tiger so I don’t have to go out and spend another CA$200 to get it. Makes getting a mini pretty much half the price if you count the price of the OS. Congrats again - and I can’t wait to hear what accessories they actually send you!
