I like it, I really do. But I don’t see why its $5,000? If its solid anodized aluminum as Gizmodo says then its one heavy muther. The Lian site says “Aluminum alloy elegant, light” “surface in hard-anodize” so my guess is only the top is anodized. The rest is just aluminum. Yes it’s wired for ease of use but I still don’t see the justification for a $5k price tag.
As someone that was shopping for a desk not so long ago I found many desks very similar to this one in the $200-400 range and almost bought on before I decided to build my own. I say buy a $400 desk and spend a bit to customize it to your needs.
You’ll end up with a better desk and you’ll spend a lot less money.
