I am a parent, yes. I know what it’s like to love and care for a child. But I will never know what it’s like to be pregnant, nor will I know what it’s like to stand in support of a spouse who is pregnant. As such, I’ll never know what it’s like to deal with a difficult pregnancy, devestating birth defects, and agonizing over what to do.
I’ve never been there, and I never will be. So I can’t know, deep down, what it’s like. But I can listen to someone who has been there.
I don’t presume to know where the folks who pass through here stand on the question of abortion in general, or late-term abortion specifically. No matter where you stand, take a minute to read this woman’s story. Then take another minute to pass it on, if only so that more people might understand a little better what it’s like from the other side.
