Stuck for Life, Too.

From TalkLeft comes news that the Dems have now also caved on Bush judiciary nominee Janice Rogers Brown, by voting to end the filibuster. This is the woman who deemed that families like mine “trivialize family bonds.”

Brown is headed for the D.C. Court of Appeals. Next stop is probably the Supreme Court.

Tell me again just what was good about the Senate compromise?

I hate the compromise, but my fear (and i think Reid’s fear) was that Frist did in fact have the votes to get rid of the filibuster, so instead of the disaster we have now, we would have had a collapse of two-party rule completely.

at least the dems can filibuster supreme court nominees…

but those might be famous last words…
