Hearkening back to previous discussions, via A Stitch In Haste comes news that the Truth Laid Bear Ecosystem has been updated/redesigned recently. It was news to me, which goes to show how long it’s been since I checked in. The ecosystem sports a new look, and the same blogger evolutionary scale is still there.
It’s been so long since I checked in that I don’t know whether the following features are new, or if I just didn’t notice them last time, but TTLB ssems to have added some sections that focus on more than just incoming links, but also shines the like on top posts and hot topics, as well as communities, all of which seem to lean towards perhaps opening things up to newer voices instead of the same-olds at the top of the food change.
Technorati is trying out a new look too. I’d check out the tags section to seek out blogs beyond the top 100.
It’ll be interesting to see how things evolve from this point. Though I’m not sure if I’d go so far as to say all bloggers should register eith either or both, it’s still nice to see some attempt ad broadening focus a bit.
