Zach’s Story Spreads

I was looking through my recent referrers this evening when I came across a link to MetaFilter. Holy crap, I thought, have I been MeFi’d? After taking a deep breath, I clicked on the link and ended up at this MeFi post.

The link to this blog is in the comments, along with a link to AmericaBlog. I wasn’t aware that AmericaBlog had posted about Zach’s story, but I did email John about it after I first posted on it, so maybe he posted on it too.

It turns out Zach’s story has been on MeFi at least once before, and somehow I missed it.

Also, the podcast report that I and other bloggers contributed to will be on PlanetOut’s “This Way Out” web radio program on Wednesday. I’ll post a link to it once it’s live.

Well, i put the links to you and Americablog on Mefi – you guys deserve the credit for helping spread this dire tale around to the rest of us.

Well I’m still waiting for it to be picked up by The WaPo. I’ve been emailing them on a daily basis demanding that they cover a very important human rights story.

While my little site isn’t nearly as busy as this or the others that have covered the story, I also linked to here (since most of the sites to which you refer are blocked at my work. I do most of my posting from there). I made sure to mention the concentrated effort in an attempt to get people to join the common cause.
