The Votes Are In

I’ve been doing some substitue blogging over at the Rock the Vote blog, where I’ve met up with the rather conservative social security privatization crowd, who seem to congregate there for some reason.

And they don’t like me. They really, really don’t like me.

I guess I’m not conservative enough for ‘em. Big surprise, huh?

Anyway, some of them will probably wander over here. Just FYI.

At least they called you “Mr. Heath”.

And, wow, I’ve been out of the loop for awhile on very right-wing thoughts and theories, because – DAMN! Delusional is the word that comes to mind. Hate-filled is another winning phrase.

  2. Alex says:

They even had the audacity to call you a…*gasp*…liberal! Such a terrible insult, no?

  3. Stephanie says:

Just me but I always take “not conservative” as a compliment.

I haven’t been following the right-wing on Social Security for awhile because I thought the issue was pretty much dead and not going anywhere. Privatization is not popular with most Americans.

You know by now my devout pleasure in reading your posts so I just made this comment in your defense at the “Students for Social Security” site beneath the first “really” in your post above.

If you have a problem with Terrance Heath you definitely have a major problem with yourselves students of SS. Sounds to me like you bought Dubya’s (Cheney’s, Rumsfeld’s, Rove’s, etc.)lies. May you find enlightenment, sooner because it’s almost too late. While you’re at it, please learn the meaning of equality. namast*
*(Oh, that’s right, your host doesn’t like ‘foreign accents.’ Foreigners in general I should imagine. Yes? or anything that doesn’t cling to your conditioned repugnant beliefs.)

Must read the rest of the links above but had such a grin posting the blocked quote I thought I’d pass it on and let you see how I have your back T. Tis a pleasure indeed to say and know you truly understand the truth of “namasté!” Write on enlightened one.
    Again, namasté!

Yeah. It’s enough to make me think that conservatives aren’t very nice people.

But that can’t be true of all conservatives….

  6. neilemac says:

Not going to say all ‘Conservatives’ aren’t nice but I’ve yet to meet one whom didn’t look down his nose, even when looking up.

But Ouch! Just read the other links, well not really; I nearly wretched to read such trash and bailed out. Those people believe there are themselves, then the rest of us. How totally brave of any decent soul to tread near their murky makebelieve. Sites like that are poisonous. It’s small wonder the conditioned right are so blind; they believe their own fabrications.

Actually, I almost feel sorry for anyone so deceived; if they weren’t so damned ‘in your face’ with repeated lies, I would.

    Encore, brave soul, namasté
