Remembering 9/11

All day long I’ve kind of felt I should do an obligatory post on 9/11, but I just don’t have it in me. Most peole, adults, anyway, have clear memories of that day, including where they were and what they were doing when it began to unfold. Mine isn’t that much different from anyone elses.

Instead, I thought this would be a good time to point people towards one of our projects at work. I didn’t work closely on it myself, so I can pretty much approach BuildtheMemorial.Org with unbiased eyes. The goal is to raise support and funding to build the World Trade Center Memorial right on the bedrock footprints of the two towers. You can donate, and see pictures of the proposed design. And, probably the most compelling part o the site, you can share your experience of 9/11 with others, and read their experiences as well.

If you’re looking for a place to remember 9/11, I’d recommend BuildtheMemorial.Org.
