Next on the Nightstand

Thanks to everyone who sent in book recommendations. I’ve decided to get two fiction and two non–fiction books for the next stash. The non-fiction titles are two that were recommended; An End to Suffering : The Buddha in the World and Night Draws Near : Iraq’s People in the Shadow of America’s War.

I haven’t picked any fiction titles yet, though I have a couple of ideas. So, I’m still open to recommendations.

For fiction — I have not read it (yet?), but E.L. Doctorow’s new book, “The March,” is getting good reviews. You might check it out and see if you’d like reading it. On the other hand, if you have not read it yet, “The Da Vinci Code” is a fun, interesting book. I actually enjoyed it a lot (well, at the time time I was recovering from a liver transplant!).
