Something’s going on and I can’t figure out what it is. All day I’ve been seeing Technorati pop up in my referrer links. What’s unusual is that these are come from the homepage, and not one of the inner pages that you might find under Tags or in the Blog Finder. At first I thought maybe my blog had rotated into the “featured blog” spot their showing on the front page. But my blog doesn’t show up in list of featured blogs on the Blog Finder page, because those are recently added blogs.
I’ve looked at the Technorati homepage and don’t see a link to my blog anywhere on it. No surprise, since I can’t think of a reason my blog would be linked from the their home page. I’m stumped. Maybe Technorati didn’t link to this blog on their home page, and it’s just that a significant number of people just visited Technorati’s home page before coming here. That still seems weird.
I’m stumped. Any ideas?
