A Lotta Depp’ll Do Ya
More mindless celebrity worship. I’ve waxed on and on about Joaquin Phoenix lately, but he’s only one of my favorite actors to stare at for 90 minutes or more at one sitting. He’s also one of the top three on my surprisingly popular (181 comments and counting) list of the sexiest men alive, along with Keanu Reeves and Johnny Depp.
Of the three, I’ve been neglecting Reeves and Depp lately, but Deppography: The Johnny Depp Online Gallery is an opportunity to make up for that in Depp’s case. It’s a huge online collection of pictures of Depp by various photographers, of which which the site’s creator says:
I had a good reason for creating this site. The reason was so that I could look my boyfriend straight in the eyes and say, “It’s for research purposes,” when he questioned my need to spend hours and hours hunting for pictures of Johnny Depp on the internet.
An interesting way to legitimize and obsession I guess, and one that might give me ideas for another project or two, if I only had the time to pursue it. In the meantime, I now know where to go for my Depp fix when necessary.
