Wanted: Legal Defense Fund Know-How
No, not for me. I don’t need one. Yet.
Via Scott comes word that the Chalice Blog is seeking help from anyone who knows how to set up a legal defense fund; for Corey Maye, specifically. I’m posting it because I know there are a some legal minds out there who read this blog, but also because I’d like to know too. It just seems like a good thing for progressives to know, especially progressive bloggers who can work the netroots to start something like that pretty quickly when needed.
And in case I ever need one myself.
So, does anybody know?
Update: Looks like some folks are already on it. But that doesn’t answer the question. How does one set up a legal defense fund.
