Coretta Speaks

With all the discussion about what Joseph Lowrey said, it’s probably a good time to remember some of the things Coretta Scott King said. Here’s a video of a speech she delivered upon receiving an award from the Human Rights Campaign. I was particularly struck by her statement remembering the gays and lesbians who worked and marched in the civil rights movement. No doubt, she was speaking of people like Bayard Rustin.
