Justice for Dwan Prince

I wrote about Dwan Prince’s gay-bashing earlier. Today there was some justice in the case, as one of his attackers was sentenced to 25 years in prison for his part in the attack. The beating left Prince in a coma for more than a month, and he still suffers brain damage as a result of the attack. The New York City Anti-Violence Project remains concerned that no accomplices in the attack have been brought to trial. Meanwhile, there’s no news of any suspects in Rashawn Brazell’s murder, and a recent Brooklyn murder may be another gay related killing.
